Neat and airy rooms with a coffee table, a lounge and an iron. Spacious beds, great location in the restaurant or in the bar area.
-
Corey
This place had a cozy room with all the necessities and a lovely view of the garden and the picturesque gorge nearby, all conveniently located just a short walk away from the Lodge Willersley Castle.
-
Bob
The room was fashionable and neat with a shower, a hairdryer and towels in the en suite bathroom. The location was great and beautiful, not very far from an old-fashioned amusement park...
Unfortunately Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

The recently refurbished rooms were of a very high standard, and the friendly and warm greeting upon arrival made for a great start to the stay. The hotel location was perfect for exploring the wider area and also conveniently close to Alton Towers.
Not all amenities were fully operational during my stay. Additionally, some areas of the hotel, particularly the annex building, appeared a bit dated and in need of attention.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The hotel provided great value for money with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location, nestled in a lovely sunny area on a little hill in the beautiful Peak District, made for a relaxing and picturesque stay. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. I especially enjoyed having a room on my own at breakfast, where I could enjoy the basic amenities and indulge in the delicious spread available. The four-poster bed was a lovely surprise, and with the windows open, I was treated to amazing views of the surrounding area. The hotel even offered a discounted rate for breakfast, which was greatly appreciated.
All aspects of my stay were more than satisfactory.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and the rooms were clean. The location of the hotel was convenient for my business trip, with easy access to nearby attractions. Additionally, the hotel offered a complimentary buffet in the evening, which was a nice touch.
The rooms were also smaller than expected and lacked amenities such as dressing gowns and slippers. I was not satisfied with the value for money and felt the hotel could have improved in these areas.

We recently stayed at a hotel in the beautiful area near Matlock Bath. The location was perfect, close to the center and within walking distance of local pubs. Our Junior Suite in the Garden Annexe offered a comfortable stay with clean and functional rooms. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from. The staff was friendly and accommodating, providing us with different bedding for our daughter promptly upon request. we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the convenient location and comfortable accommodations.
One small drawback was the limited lighting in the car park and the unlit entrance, which raised some safety concerns.

The hotel is situated on a little hill, offering stunning views of the beautiful Peak District. The location is perfect, as it is close to everything. The staff at reception, restaurant, and bar are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, with luxurious amenities. The bathroom, although shiny and slippery, is well-appointed. The service provided by the staff is excellent, ensuring a pleasant and enjoyable stay. The breakfast served at the hotel is of high quality and delicious.
The availability for evening meals was limited, causing some guests to go hungry.

the room had wonderful views over the gardens and swimming pool. the morning breakfast offered above-average cereals, oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, and cheese. 3. the hotel's central location near common areas, rear garden, rocky outcrops, and a slippery slope was scenic and convenient.

We spent New Year's Eve at this hotel and enjoyed the complementary champagne and chocolates in our room upon arrival. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to nearby attractions. Best of all, the outdoor swimming pool was a real treat, even in the winter weather.
Breakfast was limited and disappointing. The continental options were lacking and not up to standard.
